Payments made by bank account will be presented to your banking institution by means of an ACH transaction within 24 hours of submitting your payment.
To ensure your payment is finalized by your banking institution, please verify the accuracy of the routing number and account number you entered. An incorrect and/or incomplete routing number or account number may cause your payment to be rejected by your banking institution.
Note: Not all banking institutions accept ACH transactions from a savings account.
It is the customer's responsibility to understand their banking institutions rules regarding the acceptance and authorization of ACH payments.
All online payments that are rejected by the banking institution will be subject to a $6.00 fee. In addition, penalty, interest and fees will be assessed in accordance with the Code of Virginia when applicable.
